This was the first Christmas image that I released following the launch of Nigel Hemming Editions. A Black Lab pup sits mournfully in its basket, its toys scattered around. Finding itself alone, it adopts the all to familiar pose and expression of a dog that feels abandoned or in trouble. I feel an Ahh! coming on.
